Fun and learning with total joint surgical observation at Hoag Orthopedic Institute today!

Elyse Biechele PT, DPT, our MTS post-op program director and Ashley Huang PT, DPT, from the MTS post-op team, had the amazing opportunity to shadow orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steven Barnett and his PA Treanna Mather at Hoag Orthopedic Institute today. They were able to observe an anterior total hip replacement and a robotic-assisted total knee replacement all the way from anesthesia to the final sutures.
